Broken. I don't know if it's my computer or a glitchy multiplayer system, but it seem unplayable to me.

Yes I am aware. I am trying to work with a friend such that I can work out the multiplayer system. This is the first time I've made multiplayer and its hard to go from an example thats not platformer orientated.
The music was nice, and the puzzles were interesting, but this really doesn't have a whole lot of replay value. I suppose it wasn't meant to be, and for what it is, it's pretty good, but all things considered, there are puzzle games that do this premise with a bit more affluence.
Yea, I added it under a different tag.
I like the idea and the music. Hell, I even like the little story this had. The gameplay and enemy models though... I realize this was somewhat trying to be a bullet heaven game, but i wasn't a fan of it. It was simply too simplistic for it's own good. I would say possibly add a system of powerups to warrant moving the ship that temporarily increase ammo output or give invincibility or something.
Thank you, I will begin a rework tonight. From your perspective, is the base rate of fire okay or should it be reduced slightly to increase the impact of power ups?
I liked this game. The many choices of crosswords was fun, and it's a nice time killer. Good job.
thanks so much ;)
I actually really liked this. The music was calming, yet fitting, the gameplay was just good enough to warrant replaying, and the graphics were simple, but great. Good job. The only thing I would improve on is maybe adding an animation when you get hit by an asteroid.
Thank your for your feedback. :)
Not bad at all. I have to give a lot of credit to the playability. This had me playing again and again simply to upgrade the vehicle and see how far I could get on my upgrades. The music was bearable, and there was really no need for a plot beyond "you have a car, speed in it and avoid shit". I would say the only thing I would improve is the upgrading system. Paying 80 coins for the upgrade to my NOS every time take away the incentive to keep buying it. Add tiers to the upgrades, with each new upgrade costing more coins than the last. Anyway, not a bad game.
Thank you for the comment. I agree the upgrade/coin system is kinda crap. I actually made this game a couple years ago and finally got around to releasing it. Since then I've learned a bit more about implementing better coins/upgrade style systems but never felt like fixing this up as it's so old.
